Li Jinzao Meets with B.C. Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology, Minister of State and Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture
On September 25 local time, director of the World Tourism Alliance Organizing Committee and CNTA chairman Li Jinzao held a meeting with Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology Bruce Ralston, Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture Lisa Beare and Minister of State George Chow of British Columbia, Canada. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common concern.
Li said he just met with senior officials from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and Destination Canada in the morning to discuss the preparation for the China-Canada Tourism Year program. CNTA would like to strengthen tourism cooperation and exchange with British Columbia and other Canadian provinces under the tourism year program.
Mr. Ralston congratulated on the establishment of the World Tourism Alliance and said that British Columbia was one of the most important Canadian destinations for Chinese tourists and receiving more and more visits from China. His government looked forward to the tourism year and would actively seek cooperation with Chinese provinces under the tourism year program.
Also present at the meeting were departmental heads from the British Columbia Ministry of Jobs, Trade and Technology and CNTA.
