Li Jinzao Meets with Czech Regional Development Minister Karla lechtová
On May 15, CNTA Chairman Li Jinzao met in Beijing with the delegation headed by Czech Regional Development Minister Karla lechtová, who came to China to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF), and the two sides exchanged views on further deepening tourism communication and cooperation between the two countries. Also present at the meeting was CNTA Vice Chairman Du Jiang.
Li Jinzao first of all extended his welcome to Karla lechtová for her attendance of the BRF. He said that the two-way tourist flow between China and the Cezch Republic has increased steadily in recent years, showing a sound momentum of tourism cooperation. In 2016, the main leaders of the tourism administrations of China and the Czech Republic exchanged visits, building a closer relationship and enhancing mutual understanding. He suggested that the two sides further expand the cooperation areas, support tourism polices and travel agencies to establish work contacts, strengthen exchange of travel statistics, and promote tourism cooperation between the two countries in an all-around way in the future.
Karla lechtová said that the Czech Republic attaches great importance to tourist market of China. In recent years, the two countries have made remarkable achievements in tourism cooperation, The Cezch Republic is now working harder to setup of Chinese signs and training of tourism talents, so as to create a more convenient and friendly environment for Chinese tourists. The Czech Republic will send a delegation to attend the general meeting of UNWTO held in Chengdu in this September, and is looking forward to take the opportunity to continue to promote pragmatic tourism cooperation and expand personnel exchanges between the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were relevant departmental heads of the Czech Regional Development Ministry and responsible persons of relevant departments and offices under CNTA.
